Seung Uk always had engaging lesson plans and always encouraged students to participate. By far my favorite TA in my college experience
I think the instructor is extremely welcoming, receptive, and respectful. One thing I liked is that he made sure he knew every students names early on in the course, which is something not a lot of professors do. This helped to facilitate a comfortable setting to discuss issues, class material, and to bring up concerns. He also made himself conveniently available with office hours online and in person. During office hours, he was very helpful and my meetings with him were always effective. Moreover, the class was engaging and it was easy to come to class because the instructor was always clear with his expectations. I also like the supplemental material he included such as videos and other readings on Canvas. And the group work he had us to regularly really helped me understand the reading material better.
Seung-uk was very good at fostering discussions and applying our theories to real world events. He also was very available and responded promptly to emails. He provided very good feedback and helped to develop our ideas and theories.
The instructor was always very prepared, very inquisitive, and very relaxed. I enjoyed being taught during discussion and it seemed that he really wanted to see us succeed.
Encouraging discussion, fair grading, great sense of humor that helps engage the class
He was always approachable and hardly made mistakes. He was incredibly nice and seemed to really care about us learning rather than just getting through the lecture. I really liked him.
Very great in class presentation. The instructor's teaching felt more like a converstaion then just teaching information.
He was hilarious; made class enjoyable. He graded well and thoughtfully, and his responses really helped me understand what I did and didn't do wrong. He was always quick to respond when I emailed.
The grading procedures were efficient and the feedback was thorough and helpful. I appreciated the comments that the professor made because they helped me improve my work a lot.
Seung-Uk is a great TA. Seung-Uk always grades our weekly assignments in a meaningful and conscientious way. He always writes comments to elaborate and explain my points when he grades weekly assignments. He is always patient in answering any questions. He is very helpful to students both inside and outside of the class. I talked to him during his office hour for a long time. He gave me lots of helpful advice regarding my academic and career plan. He even follows up with me by sending additional resource he thought might be helpful for me to apply to grad school. When I have questions about the quizzes, he is always patient to figure things out with me. He always comes to the discussion sections well prepared. His slides are organized and make sense. He explains things clearly. He is an amazing TA overall. I'm lucky to have him this semester.
